These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website at pointvoip.com and the PointVoIP text messaging program, operated by PointVoIP, LLC (“PointVoIP,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the website or opting in to our text messages, you agree to these Terms.
If your business has signed a service order or customer agreement with PointVoIP, that agreement governs your purchase and use of PointVoIP services, and controls if it conflicts with these Terms.
1. Use of the website
You may use this website for lawful purposes related to learning about, purchasing or managing PointVoIP services. You agree not to interfere with the website’s operation, attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system, submit false information, or use automated tools to scrape or overload the site.
2. SMS / text messaging terms
Program description
PointVoIP offers two text messaging programs:
- Account, billing & support alerts — support ticket updates, technician scheduling, outage and maintenance notices, number porting status, invoices, payment reminders and other account notifications.
- PointVoIP offers & news (optional) — product announcements, promotions, webinar invitations and newsletters. You receive these only if you separately opt in to marketing texts.
How you opt in
You opt in by entering your mobile number and checking the text message consent box on a PointVoIP web form (such as pointvoip.com/connect), by agreeing on a PointVoIP service order, or by texting JOIN or START to a PointVoIP number. You will receive a confirmation message after you opt in.
Message frequency and cost
Account, billing and support alert frequency varies based on your account activity. Offers and news messages are sent up to 4 times per month. Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile plan.
How to opt out
Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT) to any message to stop receiving texts from that program. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages unless you opt in again. To rejoin, reply START. You may also opt out by contacting us at 844-778-5060 or [email protected].
Help
Reply HELP to any message, call 844-778-5060 or email [email protected].

3. Services, quotes and pricing
Product descriptions, features, quotes and pricing shown on this website are for informational purposes and may change without notice. A quote is not binding until it is accepted on a PointVoIP service order. Availability of services, numbers and features may vary by location.
4. 911 / E911 notice
VoIP 911 service has limitations compared to traditional landline 911. 911 calls may not work during a power outage, internet outage or service interruption, and may route incorrectly if a device is moved without updating its registered address. Customers are responsible for keeping each device’s registered 911 location current and informing users of these limitations. Full 911 terms are included in your PointVoIP service agreement.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use PointVoIP websites or services to send unsolicited or illegal calls or messages, spoof caller ID for fraudulent purposes, violate the Telephone Consumer Protection Act or similar laws, transmit unlawful, harassing or infringing content, or interfere with any network. We may suspend access for violations.
6. Intellectual property
The website and its content, including text, graphics, logos and software, are owned by PointVoIP or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify or distribute website content without our written permission, except to view and print pages for your own business use.
7. Third-party links
The website may link to third-party sites or integrations. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices.

9. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, POINTVOIP AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE WEBSITE OR TEXT MESSAGING PROGRAM. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100). LIABILITY FOR PURCHASED SERVICES IS GOVERNED BY YOUR SERVICE AGREEMENT.
